FNB is inviting experienced sales professionals to apply for the role of Transactional Banking Sales Manager (X2) within its Commercial Banking segment in Windhoek. This full-time opportunity is ideal for individuals with a strong background in transactional banking, sales leadership, and client engagement.

This role plays a key part in driving transactional banking revenue through sales origination, cross-selling, and long-term client relationship development.


About the Role

The Transactional Banking Sales Manager is responsible for initiating and enabling transactional sales across the commercial and business client base. The role focuses on increasing market share, optimising revenue opportunities, and delivering tailored transactional banking solutions that meet both current and future client needs.

The Transactional Banking portfolio includes:

  • Account services

  • Cash management solutions

  • Card acquiring and issuing

  • EFT services

  • Digital payment solutions

These offerings are designed to support the operational and growth needs of commercial and business clients.


Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Continually identify and act on opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships

  • Drive market share growth through upselling, cross-selling, and new client acquisition

  • Create end-to-end value propositions that integrate products, pricing, services, and delivery channels

  • Provide input and guidance on pricing as part of holistic transactional solutions

  • Monitor market trends to identify growth opportunities for commercial and business clients

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and present tailored transactional banking solutions

  • Lead transactional sales origination efforts to achieve revenue targets


Ideal Candidate Profile

Qualifications and Experience

You will be an ideal candidate if you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a similar sales environment

  • At least 2 years’ experience at junior management level

  • 2+ years’ supervisory or management experience leading a sales team


Proven Track Record Required

Successful candidates should demonstrate experience in:

  • Consistently exceeding sales targets

  • Driving fast and efficient sales cycles

  • Managing key performance metrics such as:

    • Conversion rates

    • Call volumes

    • Pipeline efficiency

  • Transactional banking product knowledge and application
